Here's what you REALLY
need to know before you buy...

We're not the cheapest...

Let's be honest. The first thing on everyone's mind is "How much is this going to cost?"

Horizon Structures is not the cheapest. We're not the most expensive either.

Everyone selling a horse barn is selling QUALITY. That's a given. Remember that old saying: "You get what you pay for."

Part of what you get when you buy one of our horse barns is world-class customer service...

  • We pick up the phone when you call. You won't get voice mail unless we're all on the phone or it's after normal business hours.
  • We reply to email. We read every single email we get and respond as soon as we're able. Many times, it's within 24 hours.
  • We're with you every step of the way. From answering the most basic questions regarding our horse barns, storage sheds, garages, gazebos or chicken coops to helping you design the horse barn of your dreams.

Horizon Structures is a company that stands behind its product - 1 year, 5 years, 10 years or more!

  • Friends don't let friends build horse barns
    ...Why not?

Some of you may be considering asking a friend or relative, who happens to be in the construction business, to build your horse barn.

    Before you do, consider this...

Carpentry and construction experience doesn't equal "horse sense."

You wouldn't ask a brain surgeon to perform a root canal would you?

WE ARE THE EXPERTS when it comes to designing and building a horse barn or horse barns. We know what it takes to give your horse the finest home possible: correct stall size, lighting, ventilation, safety details, premium horse-tough materials and more.

With a friend, you often can't insist on a "due date." You may be at the mercy of his schedule. Our lead time is, typically, only 2 to 3 weeks. Additionally, a Horizon Structures' horse barn can be ready for your horses the SAME DAY it's delivered (*One week at the most for larger horse barns), compared to 4-6 weeks, or more, for "stick built."

Besides, you don't want to risk a friendship should something go wrong. If you're not satisfied with the horse barn we build we'll work to make it right until you are!

    Renovation consternation
    ...Huh?

Thinking about renovating that old horse barn instead of starting from scratch?

On the one hand, you can pat yourself on the back for thinking about conservation and making use of something you already have.

With the other hand, take out a paper and pencil and figure out how much renovating is actually going to cost. Not just in terms of $$$ but also in terms of what you might have to compromise in functionality and safety for your horses.

You can still use that old horse barn for hay and equipment storage.... Just save yourself the headache of trying to convert something into something it was never intended for. Avoid the pain of future maintenance and repair of the older, original structure.

Do yourself (and your horses) a favor - Start off right with one of our new and complete "horse-ready" horse barns, and rest easy at night.

Remember: Our horse barns are delivered fully assembled and ready for SAME DAY USE.
(*One week at the most for a larger horse barn)

    Wood versus Metal
    ...Who wins?

When considering a horse barn, it's smart to look at all your options, and we know that includes metal pole buildings / horse barns.

Besides all the practical reasons to choose wood, our experience has been that wood is what people really want for their horse barn.

A horse barn that looks warm, comfortable and inviting - like a horse barn is supposed to look - not cold, hard and industrial.

We're not knocking metal pole buildings / horse barns. As a matter of fact, we sell them - click here. We want to encourage you to go for your heart's desire - whatever that may be.

Your horse barn is something you'll be living with for a long time!

    Ladies Only

"If I had a dollar for every woman who phoned in for pricing on a horse barn so her husband could tell her he could do it for less...I could afford to retire!"

Jill Siragusa, Sales & Marketing Manager, Horizon Structures

We get LOTS of those requests! And every single caller knows deep in her heart that her husband will NEVER get that project done.

We're not saying he can't do it.
We're not saying he doesn't want to do it.

But you know and we know he simply may not have the time to do it. And, there's a pretty good chance that he won't save money doing it himself either. Because we're able to buy our materials, in bulk, direct from the mills we pay much less than the average consumer buying his materials from the local lumber yard.

Time is money. Have your husband spend his valuable time with the family, not out in the back yard building a horse barn. Let us do it!

    "He who hesitates is lost"
    ...What do you mean?

No doubt about it, we're all putting extra time and attention into making decisions about how to spend our money these days. Sometimes making larger purchases - like horse barns - can seem so complicated and overwhelming that it's easy to fall into "analysis paralysis"... simply doing nothing.

Sitting on a project like this can actually cost you more in the long run...

  • Everyone knows that prices continue to climb. Waiting to buy your horse barn until next year could mean you'll pay more.
  • You're boarding your horses now but were planning to bring them home to a your own, new horse barn. Now, you're having second thoughts. Think again - now is the PERFECT time...

You just can't put a price on being able to walk out your back door and have your horses waiting for you - just a few steps away. It sure beats that once or twice a week trip to the horse barn - if you can manage to squeeze it in to your busy schedule.

Consider also the time you spend traveling back and forth to the horse barn and the money spent on gas. When it seems like you're cutting back on everything else don't cut back on the time you spend with your horses - work or play! Being near them and a part of their lives on a daily basis is good for the soul and relieves stress better than an expensive vacation ever could.

An added bonus to consider: improvements such as horse barns, riding arenas, pastures, fencing, storage sheds and landscaping all fall within the type of improvements likely to help increase the value of the land itself.
